Ian is the Pricing Director for Herbert Smith Freehills with responsibility for the development and execution of the firm’s pricing strategy globally. He leads a pricing function located across multiple geographies which provides pricing advisory, analytics, capability development and negotiation support to the firm’s partners and staff across all markets. The team works to develop tailored and commercial pricing solutions that meet clients’ individual needs and provide value for money.
He has worked for Herbert Smith Freehills for nine years and prior to this Ian worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for four years.
He earned his BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of York and is also a Certified Pricing Professional with the Professional Pricing Society.
