Christel heads the firm’s IT department and has overall responsibility for IT Strategy, IT Business Continuity, Information and Data Security, the delivery of technological services and transformation projects to the business.
She has been in the legal sector for nearly 20 years now and as early as 2003, Christel has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative client-focused online portals which has led to legal technology awards, early initiatives that continue to form part of the firm’s business improvement strategy that is focused on delivering efficiencies, cost savings and client service improvements through technology, process and cultural change.
Christel was made a partner in 2011. Whilst working full-time in IT, Christel has also completed an MBA in 2013. She is a member of the firm’s Compliance Team and Practice Standards Committee.
Prior to Winckworth Sherwood, Christel worked for Ascot PLC/Mayfair Taverns and Nationwide Trust Limited and gained her first IT work experience in Japan working at Miyano Machinery Japan Inc. now Citizen Machinery.
