Adam Riley

Adam is the Sales & Commercial Director for Accenture Strategy in the UK & Ireland, leading on the Practice’s pricing, sales execution & profitable delivery agendas. His team acts as a commercial center of excellence providing guidance and support to both leadership, and project teams, to optimize commercial performance across the value chain – from sales pursuit, through deal closure and into project delivery. Adam also acts as a Subject Matter Expert providing guidance to Accenture deal teams, and their clients, on Commercial Excellence projects.

A strong advocate of commercial capability development across the firm globally, Adam is regular speaker and faculty member on a range of executive commercial training courses. He is also part of Accenture’s Negotiations Centre of Excellence and the Strategy Sales Effectiveness Lead for Europe.

In his role, Adam draws on his extensive Business Transformation & Change experience gained across a broad portfolio of Accenture’s largest clients. Prior to his current role as Commercial Director, Adam was the Change Strategy Lead for the UK & Ireland.

Before joining Accenture in 2008, Adam spent 12 years as an Officer in the British Army. He is now based in Newcastle, although works primarily in London. Outside of work Adam is kept busy by children, dogs, playing cricket in all weathers and following Liverpool FC.
