Sayid Hussein

Sayid is the Head of Information Technology for Dentons UK&ME region. Offices that fall under the UK&ME umbrella are London, Milton Keynes, Watford and soon to be offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen in the UK, plus multiple offices in the Middle East and Africa region including Dubai, Doha, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, and Cairo.

After having graduated with a Law & French degree from De Montfort University in Leicester, Sayid began his 17+ year career in IT. Sayid has had a successful background in the legal arena having worked for a number prestigious and well known law firms such as Herbert Smith, CMS Cameron McKenna, Brodies and Maples & Calder. Whilst progressing his career, Sayid completed a Masters in “Information Systems and Technology”. He is also Change Management, 6-Sigma, PRINCE2 and ITIL trained, with a strong experience of applying best practice frameworks to suit business needs.

Sayid provides hands on leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout the UK&ME region. Managing a team of 75+ staff. The primary responsibilities for this position encompass a wide variety of strategic technology issues including: security, governance and policy, resource allocation, information technology protocols and M&A growth initiatives. During this time he has helped the firm achieve various accreditations and certifications, successfully created a new I.T team in Warsaw, Poland overseeing the transition of many of the I.T services from London without any issues or degradation of service, managed two successful mergers within region and helps to continue to deliver best value from technology to the firm.
